The Church

Wil Perez

Following Jesus is personal, but it was never intended to be isolated.

You need other believers.

You need people who will encourage you, pray with you, teach you, celebrate with you and sometimes correct you.

And they need you too.

The Bible describes believers as a body. Different parts, different functions, but one body under Christ.

Church isn't simply somewhere you go once a week.

It's a people you become part of.

This is why community, discipleship, gathering together, serving and accountability matter.

Don't only ask:

“What can this church give me?”

Eventually begin asking:

“How can God use me to strengthen His Church?”

Take Your Next Step

*Don't disappear after service.*

Introduce yourself.

Join community.

Ask about discipleship.

Let someone know you're new to following Jesus.

You weren't designed to walk this alone.
